Well, it's time for the first NL of the new year. I hope everyone had a good holiday and is ready to get back into some RS action! Without further ado, let's delve into news. You all know the drill.

First off, I'd like to thank our friendly RFXO for writing the NL last month. As you probably have guessed by now, I'm writing it again this month. No no, don't complain, you're stuck with me.
There's been quite a few changes to the RF Command Staff this past month or so, so I might as well direct your attention to that. As everyone probably knows by now, COL John "Speedy" Gonzalez has been appointed CO of RSM. In the last NL, you saw that LGN Harley "Jester" Quinn was appointed CO of the STC. Recently I appointed CMDR Dash Xander to the position of Solatium Battalia CO. Congratulations and wishes of good luck to all the appointees!
In other news, the decision was made to give the "Fleet Command" Armada mod to the STC, and Jester has opened a squadron there to accomodate RS players who wish to play. It looks pretty cool, hopefully it will live up to the hype in the months ahead.
SWAT members are rejoicing as their webpage is finally up at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/rf/swat I think there's still a few kinks to work out, though. Hopefully their ITOD will start up soon as well.
The SWG PA is making leaps and bounds in terms of activity and discussion. There is excitement in the air about SWG, despite the fact that the release date is a good 4 months away at the moment. All RS members interested in SWG are encouraged to view the boards at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/bbs/board.php?id=25

The webpage (http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/rf/) is up-to-date, including the Divisions page. The General Info page has received a healthy update- the fleet timeline and list of commanding officers has been extended. I've added a little something to my CO's office as well.

Although there are no Command Staff promotions this month, I would like to extend my thanks to all my Division CO's for reporting to me in a timely fashion last month. I am proud to work with each and every one of them.
